The International Summer Course on Advocacy Skills in Mental Health System Development: From Research to Policy 2019 is held following the success of the previous International Summer Course in 2017 and 2018. The previous summer course has successfully triggered progress in the Gerakan Bebas Pasung in Indonesia which led to further action in the form of research collaboration and advocacy.
This 2019 summer course is designed to answer the need for advocacy skills in supporting the development of the mental health system, especially to promote well-being and prevent mental illness by improving community mental health literacy and starting from the strengthening of family well-being.
