ABOUT INTERNATIONAL SUMMER COURSE ON PSYCHOLOGY

International Summer Course on Advocacy Skills in Mental Health System Development: From Research to Policy 2018 is held following the success of International Short Course on Advocacy Skills in Mental Health System Development: From Research to Policy 2017.

The ISCP 2017 has successfully triggered impactful progress in Gerakan Bebas Pasung (Free Pasung Program) in Indonesia which led to further action in the form of research collaboration and advocacy.

This 2018 summer course is designed to answer the need for advocacy skills in developing mental health system.

International Summer Course on Advocacy Skills in Mental Health System Development: From Research to Policy 2018 is organized by Center for Public Mental Health Faculty of Psychology Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

COURSE FORMAT

Lecture by international & national experts in mental health advocacy, integrated modules including focused discussion, small work groups and practices, development of research projects and joint publications, as well as visitation to community-based mental health facility.
